So, as of yesterday I started on a list of Rinkmeets that will see me meet 11 people (10 of them new people) in 7 days. I met ahmoacah and Sam and Leen, who are very nice people, yesterday. Leen gave me sweets and home made brownies.

The Stoddards and I went to Fanuil Hall (which is probably spelled wrong), and saw lots of interesting things. We saw a soccer chess set that required imagination to tell the pieces apart, and a blue velour Austin Powers backgammon set in a toy shop called "Zoinks!". Leen found a stall specialising in purple stuff. There was an anti-war demonstration that we only managed to avoid being trampled by by diving into a doughnut shop with mere inches to spare. Then we went to the Common, and lazed around for a little while and chatted about RinkChat. Ether then or earlier Leen gave me some Code Red to try, and it was OK. Nothing special, or anything.

In the common, we found someone selling foetus keyrings. I think he had a Cause, but we didn't stop to check.

We went to the Prudential Tower, which is really tall, unless you live in New York, in which case it's tiny. Me and Sam went up to the top, and I took photoes, and we tried to line up the things on the ground with the dots on the windows telling you where the things on the ground are. That was very difficult.

We then just *had* to go and play in a fountain. So we did, and some kids copied us, and we kept expecting their parents to shout at us. But they didn't.

Then we wandered around the common again because Sam and Leen wanted to insist I tried some fried dough. I tried it, and I've eaten worse stuff. I shall say no more than that.

Then we went to the T stop to wait for ahmoacah to pick us up after the wedding she went to. We were entertained by some suicidal skateboarders who were jumping off a 4 foot hight wall, about 3 foot infront of another wall. Even on the few occasions they managed to land upright, it still looked painful enough to be amusing.

Then we went back to ahmoacah's house for amhoacah pizza, which is the best ever, being about three inches think with toppings. While that was cooking, we used fridge magnet poetry to insult Darien. We talked about stuff, and it was fun.

And now I've met Lynette too. More details on that later.
