Too much to tell, really.

Well, I've been trying to keep my RinkForum meeting posts, and my LiveJournal posts separate from each other, but the nature of the time I've spent with Brunnen-G, and the things we've done makes that tricky, so you should go read my LJ (link below) for details on what we've done.

But a few important points:

BG is one of the coolest people it's ever been my privilege to spend time with.

Roads in New Zealand come in two varieties: 2-lane, sealed and probably called "motorway"; and 1-lane, unsealed, clinging to the edge of a mountain, and most likely a "major road".

Either Britian used New Zealand as a mental institute once, or there's something in the water that addles men's minds. Everyone here seems to spend years building a castle out of plywood and calling it "Pamela", or some such.

We explored Hobbiton! Yay us!

We saw the world's largest corrogated iron dog (complete with light-up nostrils), and a huge steel trout with an illuminated tail. We made a hot spa pool on the beach, and walked beside lakes of boiling acid. We made butterscotch lollypops, and admired glowing maggot excreta.

All in all, I've had a great deal of fun here, and I'll be sorry to leave. But BG wants her front room back, and Cat wants to have the airbed all to herself, so I guess I have to go.
