Where? I've been reading this thread utterly shocked, because I've never heard of reserving parking spaces for anybody but handicapped people.

I can't imagine that women in advanced stages of pregnancy require close parking spaces so often that they are warranted, meaning such spaces would go to waste 99% of the time. For the remaining 1%, I wouldn't care if they used the handicapped spots.

But reserving spaces for "families with children" is utterly absurd. If anything, they should park further away, to give the kids a chance to run off some energy before they bounce off the walls in the store. I'd park in such spaces all by myself too, Mousie.

People are way too petty these days, expecting all the rest of the world should cater to their particular special "needs," and, worse, others agreeing.
