No, our worst president ever was clearly William Henry Harrison. We elect the guy, he gets sick GIVING HIS INAUGURAL ADDRESS, and freaking DIES less than a month later.

Condi Rice would have to not only overcome the "trying to become first woman president" stigma, she'd *also* have the added "trying to become the first black president" stigma. Knowing what I know of her now (which isn't enough to make a real decision) I'd probably vote for her over most any Democrat, but that doesn't mean she's electable.

It wouldn't surprise me, though, to see both parties nominate a woman in 2008 (provided the Dems don't win this year, that is.) I think if Hillary runs and looks to be the shoo-in nominee, the Republians might feel obligated to find their own female candidate to run against her. I'd lean more towards them pushing Elizabeth Dole to the forefront than Condi Rice, though.

I think it'd be cool to see Clinton vs Dole II in 2008.
