When I look at the boards I'm just amazed at everyone doing all of this traveling. I just never gotten to travel much. Yeah, I grew up in Alabama, moved to Arkansas and then to Tennessee 10 years ago, but that's all we've done as a family. Sure, we'd go down to Bama to see my grandmother and everything. More recently has been because of funerals.

Three years ago was really my first and only experience of real traveling. I went with my church on a mission trip to Quincy, Mass. We stayed there a week and went to Boston once during that week. It was AWESOME. I can truely say it was the best time of my life.

On the way up there we stopped off in Virginia to spend the night. We passed through Washington, DC and I got a far-off view of the Washington Monument. The next day the only thing I seen that excited me a bit was Titan Tower because my brother is a HUGE fan of the WWF (or WWE). We arrived in Quincy that night.

When we came back home we stopped and actually stayed at the Holiday Inn in Washington, DC. A group of us toured around. We seen the Pentagon, walked by the Vietnam Wall, went up to the Lincoln Memorial, and from there you can see everything else. We did stop by the White House, but only on the outside of the fence, we didn't get a tour or anything, it was pretty much dark at that time anyways.

That was my only experience of traveling. Besides a few trips to some Civil War battlefields around here, we pretty much stay at home. People at my girlfriend's church have recently been to Hawaii, and the most interesting thing I can come up with is a freakin trip to Massachusetts. I envy you people.

At least I do get to make a much anticipated journy to the car shop to get some brakes put on my crappy car.

*The post wasn't intended to make anyone feel sorry for me. I'm not depressed that my family don't travel much, nor do I mind as much. I just simply would like to travel more. Well... "Que sera, sera!"*
