Why on earth did you do that? I had to have my top front teeth root-canalled and filled, and it took the better part of a full day, over two separate sessions. I didn't need anaesthesia because the teeth were dead, hence the reason I was getting the work done in the first place, but it was a major procedure. How could anybody do it without anaesthesia on a live tooth, especially considering that the dentist is drilling slowly up the length of the actual nerve?
