I had root canal done a few years ago by a dentist who I now will never see again even if my dental health depended on it (he killed me once ok!!!) But anyway was a total rip off merchant, when I was 6 I had a load of treatment done in one go and died, and that didn't endear me to him, and subsequent appointments just left me thinking I should really find a new dentist. OK I'm backtracking, I'm afraid of dentists.....so what.
Anyway root canal is evil, mine was done over a 3 week period I had the nerve deadened first then a temporary crown put on then the real one which is a really nasty looking stainless steel job, but has caused me less problems than my Dad has had with his porcelain one.
All in all I enjoyed being a Ribena baby but the hasstle that came after was not worth it, root canal, and all that, not fond of anathetic's I hate needles, and they hurt!!!
Advice for root canal, ask to have a general anathetic, then you'll never know whats happening and won't be able to smell the burning of the nerve being deadened
*shudder*

Dix"doesn't like the dentist"ie
