Sam didn't say it was a virus, but a bug. In other words, your virus protection isn't going to have any effect on it, unless they put bugfixes in virus updates nowadays.

It's weird quite how many bugs Microsoft products have. Has anyone else found that, when using Word, numbered lists will suddenly indent an inch or so for just one of the items, and with no apparent reason? Once it turned the number blue as well. In fact, I wouldn't mind that quite so much, were it not for the fact that Word then swears blind that it hasn't done anything wrong and that everything is as it should be.
