My cat is VERY VERY STRANGE. For one thing, in recent weeks I have discovered that he likes to chew on things like metal pipes and electrical wire. Fortunately, I don't think he has ever pierced anything (except for human skin, but that's a different story).

Also, on a less strange note, but still pretty strange, he likes to eat potato chips. that's right. POTATO FRICKIN CHIPS.

He fetches and begs for table scraps.

He has these strange coughing fits or something, where his torso contracts and expands in ripples, sometimes ending up in vomiting.

He is bilingual. You see, everytime he senses that my parents are about to go to sleep, he instantly darts under their bed, refusing to come out. Now, he usually lies on the bed, but if my parents tell him that they are about to go to sleep, in either Chinese or English, then he will dart under the bed.

Is any of this normal? Should I take him to the vet? Has anyone seen similar issues?
