Ah, that explains it. But why are there so many people who own something that old? Have they all bought ancient coins?
The oldest thing I own is a coin too, but not from ancient times. It's a 10 penni coin from 1865, when Finland was still part of Imperial Russia, but had an autonomous status, and its own money. It's even got the monogram of Alexander II, as far as I can recall.
I just don't remember where I've put that coin.
