We do, and yes, the thought awes me. We have some ancient coins, Greek and Roman, that date between 100 B.C. and 400 A.D. I wish I had more specifics, but they were one of the many things we packed up in a hurry when our lower floor flooded from the heavy rains we had in New England a couple weeks ago.

Surprisingly, I don't think they're all that hard to come by. You can order uncleaned coins online, so scungy you can't make anything out, along with instructions on how to clean and identify them. It's pretty cool.

Below is a picture of our oldest identified coin. This one isn't *our* coin, but we've got one like it.
