At this year's RinkUnion, we tossed around the idea of creating a board game based on _Sinbad of the Seven Seas_, otherwise known as the Best Bad Movie of All Time. We did quite a bit of brainstorming for ideas at the picnic on Sunday, and I've made some progress at pulling everything together over the last couple of days.

At this point, I think there's enough material for me to post. I'll create separate branches of this thread for discussion of the basic game mechanics, game scenarios, and ideas for special cards ("Budge" cards, as we decided to call them). Read it, think about it, and post your thoughts and recommendations.

A note: although I'm soliciting public critique, I'm not opening up the game to design-by-committee. I'll adopt the ideas that seem the most workable, and reject the rest with apologies in advance, in the interest of getting this thing finished and playable as quickly as possible.
