Leen, have you ever been to see a doctor
about your headaches? My mom gets really
bad headaches pretty frequently, and has for
as long as I can remember. For the longest
time she just had to do what you said you do
when you get one... take something
over-the-counter and hope it works, or spend
the day in bed and in pain.

About ten years ago, I think, she saw a doctor
for her headaches, and he prescribed
something called Imitrex. Back then it only
came in self-administered shots, but now I
think you can get it in pill form. She's only
allowed to take it a certain number of times a
month, but when she gets a really bad
headache, this stuff works.
