In about a month, I hopefully will be taking my road test. I went out to practice today and realized that I couldn't parallel park to save my life. I was ok at it before, but now, I just can seem to do it. But I guess that it doesn't help when my mom is telling me how to do it as I'm doing it and it doesn't work.

I don't know what road tests consist of in other states/countries, but in New York state, it consists of driving in city traffic, 3-point turn (k-turn), and parallel parking. Basically, if I can't parallel park, I have to be perfect on everything else just to pass. Can anyone give me some tips on parallel parking? It seems that everything I try doesn't work. I've tried what my Driver's Ed book said. I've tried what my mom says and I've tried what the NYS Driver Manual says and none of them work. It really is getting me so upset that it is giving me a head ache.
