Murkon's Refuge: Where are the pools?

Call me stupid, call me lazy, call me a whiny brat - but I still haven't found the missing 2 pools on level 10. Where in the blue blazes are they? I'd appreciate even direct spoilers here, as long as they are properly marked as spoilers.

I tried my hand at defeating MURKON himself for the first time with my second party. As they were already low on SP, they couldn't cast QUAKE, so it was hand-to-hand combat with my Wizard casting RESTORE or HEALTH every now and then.

But then my Wizard got paralysed, and no one had any Health Amulets or Restoration Amulets, so I couldn't heal anyone. What happened was that Murkon first paralysed half of my party, then killed them, then killed the remaining half.

Well, Blast Master is now level 56, and Missile Master is level 83. I'll either kill Murkon pretty soon or go into history as the player with the highest-levelled party ever to defeat Murkon.
