With both at 2255, he has the most SP and the fewest HP of my party.

I though I might use wands, but once I could take out a monster group through a melee attack, why bother? (The only item that was REALLY useful was Death's Key (cause it hits ALL monsters).... but it's only got one use in battle... now had it been a multiple use...) > I found a really nice Rod, actually, that I use whenever I don't ambush the monsters. It's apparently quite rare, but it does kill monsters every now and then, and that means fewer of them hit back.
I find Death's Key really handy against Death himself. Of course, that's only cause I keep doing level 10 over and over. He and his minions don't survive two rounds of attack, using only the Key and no spells. Pathetic, really.
> So I carried keys, and at Perrin I bought Bright Stones, & scrolls of Hovering & Orientation. That was it. (Though I have to admit that I found a teleport stone on level 10 that I used after facing Murkon. Really just a time saver.) > Must have been hard to arm and clothe Squinting Guy, with all the keys you had to carry. It didn't take long before First Bat The Second dumped all keys leading to Kaliti. Actually, that was a bit of an issue too, since he got paralyzed aboot five times in a row right after I retrained him as an Assassin. Didn't even have time to cast QUAKE. That was depressing.
> I tried using a couple healing items through the game, but they really didn't do much for me. I was going to die pretty much every time out anyway, so after a while I figured what's the point of picking up 30 HP from a healing item before I die? > Some of the healing items give you 250 HP or better, but I can still see why you wouldn't want to waste precious space carrying them around on a suicide mission. Once you get to Kaliti, every time you're near death you have to fight your way back to Perinn, so better to just die and pay the price to resurrect.

I'll bear that in mind. Thanks. It's amazing what you learn in a single player game.
