Your endeavour sounds staggeringly ambitious, which is to say completely insane. I'm currently amassing SP for First Bat The Second, after which I will retrain him as an Assassin and go straight for Murkon's jugular.

Here's why I think it's insane to go through with no magic:

1. No group damage spells. Even level 2 is tricky without FUMES or SPARKS. It took me forever to get a Rogue up to an appreciable level, whereas once he became a Sorcerer he had almost no trouble, even with reset statistics.

2. No healing magic. You'll have to go from Perinn (!) to Murkon without healing, except for any Healing Potions you find along the way. This brings me to my next point:

3. Almost no items. If I remember correctly, you'll have to carry at least seven keys or key-equivalents. You have no HOME spell. If you drop the Proper Authorization or Stone of Passage, the only way back to Perinn is death or paralysis. Even First Bat The Second has trouble accumulating enough Items of Specialness to attain stupendous wealth. Right now he's carrying four particularly rare items which he will only be able to use when he becomes an Assassin. Even with no keys (basing my expedition out of Kaliti for the time being) it's tough to find items and decide if I want to drop some and hope to find something more expensive.

Good luck with your quest. I sincerely hope you succeed. I just may try to make it through with only a Sorcerer at some point. It occurs to me that even a Sorcerer can do arbitrary damage by merely accumulating enough Speed. Mine currently has Speed 8, but he'd have Speed 12 if he could use all his Items of Specialness.
