Don't aim at the center of the road. Aim at the center of your lane. Try thinking of your lane as the only road out there. In the driver's seat, you need to be over the track where the left wheels roll. You can see the track on most roads. Or keep yourself just to the left of the oil streak down the middle of your lane.

Isn't dyslexia a spacial estimation skill? The problem my daughter-in-law had was that she didn't know which side of the road was the right side. I had that problem to a lesser degree when I was learning, so I know how scary it must have been. I got over it in about a week, but it took her months. That's why practice, practice, practice (in a low traffic area) is a good idea.

Have you tried video games where you "drive" with a real steering wheel?
