Have you ever thought that maybe you just worry about it too much? Try to just have some fun while you're driving and enjoy yourself. Don't look straight down at the hood of the car and get worried about your lane position, because you're not supposed to look that close. You should be scanning the road ahead of you, not the yellow line whizzing past you. Set out to just have a good time and experience something new, rather than getting anxious about it.
By the way, how good are you at riding a bike? If the answer is "not good", then you should be starting there.
