Er.

Alright, it's hard to word feelings like this. Well, here goes:

I may not seem to have included my mother in most of the things I said in recent posts, but the reality is, and believe me, the thoughts on the adoption possibility I wrote about previously echo my mother's. We are on the same page in this.

Anyway, we're not going to adopt a child just yet. Like you've said, there's plenty of matters to be taken care of first, you know, like getting the shards of our lives back together, and moving into a new home, getting everything in order. Once we're set with that, then we can think about stuff like adoption. It's not a near-future thing. Well, maybe. We'll see. We don't want to put a timeframe on things, but I suppose if I had to guess, we'd do it in about a year and a half or two. Meh, maybe longer. See, it is hard to time such things.

All things considered, you have all made valid points, and you've all given me plenty to think about for awhile.

Of course, I did mean what I said. It's true, I don't want to miss out on an opportunity to be a brother to someone. I think it'd be an awesome thing.
