Well,

I woke up this morning, and other than being happy, I discovered something else new: My hair was a matted mess of destruction that rivals that of a starved stray cat. So... I eyed these new bottles of hair styling products in the shower: a shampoo, and a conditioner. Since I've been using the same shampoo for years, years and more years, and have never touched conditioner in my life, I thought, what the heck, I'll give this stuff a shot.
After doing the shampoo, then rinsing it out, then the conditioner (which had the consistency of microwaved whipped cream (don't ask)), then rinsing that stuff out, I could see why women depise showers so much. At least I don't have to shave the legs. *shiver*
So anyway, this shampoo claims to 'give thirsty, dry hair a refreshing drink of moisture you can't quit running your fingers through', or something. Well, lemme tell you:
I must've spent ten minutes trying to rinse the stuff out, but it still felt like it was in there, no matter how hard I tried! So I get outta the shower, the top of my head feeling like there was a dead squid on it, and I dry off.
It still looks and feels wet at this very moment. Well, at least it is silky smooth. Unfortunately, I can resist running my fingers through it.
So, the moral of the story is: Do you REALLY want silky, wet hair?
