College students are famous for being broke, but if you can afford it, a Sedgeway is a good way to sprint from class to class. Some schools will let you plug in for a recharge for free. They figure it means one more available parking space.

I've still yet to actually see anyone using a Segway. (With my own eyes, that is -- I've seen a few demonstration videos.) Will they really ever catch on?
