How much does it cost to rent one? I've noticed that those little 3 wheeled handicap scooters, regular motor scooters, mopeds, and 4-wheeled bike cars usually rent for about the same as renting a car. Considering the difference in the purchase price, I've never understood that.

I wanted to rent a 50cc motor scooter in Hawaii, but a Plymouth Neon was cheaper.
