You probably meant to address this to Stephen, but for my part:

I am not able to vote in America, so I don't. The question is over how much I should want to be able to.

I am able to vote in Britain, and do so, even though postal voting is a tedious process that requires me to begin several months before the actual election.

And just so *you* know, if you voted for the winner of an election, you'd better not be complaining about how the country is run. After all, you're the one who put them there. In a democracy, not voting is sometimes the best form of complaint you have.
