If the election was off by one vote, that would mean that every single individual who voted for the winner had a serious effect on the vote, and this is clearly fuzzy logic.

More importantly, your vote counts not because it has a great effect on the outcome but because if one person decides not to vote, a very great number of others with a similar personality will decide not to vote. If someone votes, people will follow that person and vote too. If a lot of people who would've voted for the same candidate decide not to vote, it will have a great cumulative effect and may affect the outcome of the election, so according to that, voting is important. But this could also be fuzzy logic, and you should never trust fuzzy logic. Vote anyway.
