There was one square in the part that has two sets of stairs that I want to step on again. There was a treasure chest but I had my Rogue open it and me messed up on the teleporter trap. It is along the wall that is parallel to the stairs that have three monster pictures in it. Could someome please give me more hints. OH feel free to give the answer. I'm ready to strangle my Rogue. He messed up on that teleporter trap many times in the storage room on level 7. I missed out on a lot of treasure because of him. Most of the time he does well. OH I already ended up on level 10 a few times because of that chute. I keep forgetting what number it is. Thank you.

Most people think of level 9 as being in two parts. There's the tough section, and there's the easier(?) one. You want to hit the stairs with the three monster pictures. As I think you found out already.

Your rogue will get lots more opportunities -- you are down where everybody carries treasure. But you might want too boost your rogue's dexterity. That might help cut down on the problems with opening chests.

And as Grishny said, the other half of the amulet isn't really portable. You will need it when and where you find it.

And yes, as Grishny also said, the monsters down on Level 10 are *incredibly* nasty. I have a solo character down there; he has combats in which he loses a few hundred hits. So, be prepared.
