One thing I'd love to see in a Bond movie is a screenplay which is faithful to, or at least remotely based on, THE FREAKING ORIGINAL BOOK THEY STOLE THE TITLE FROM. This hasn't been done in decades and there are still plenty of books left which would make brilliant movies. If you want to see Bond not getting the girl -- and not because she dies, or for any other compelling reason apart from the fact that she just plain doesn't want him -- read "Moonraker". The fact that they turned one of the best Bond books into one of the worst Bond movies is a constant affliction to me.
