Despite the charmless delivery by George Lazenby, it's well-paced and has a good, strong plot as opposed to the bog standard "bad guy holds world to ransom with nuke" effort.
So basically he was a lousy Bond, unlike Sean Connery and Roger Moore who were just made for the parts. I think thats why I didn't find it a good film, if it had been released without the Bond legacy then yeah,maybe ok flick. ButI think George Lazenby was born to play a tree stump
