Even a land invasion would be better than air strikes. Kosovo proved that air strikes by themselves are simply not effective, but kill huge amounts of civilians. If the countries that are planning on attacking Iraq were really keen on taking Hussein out, it would be straight in there with the ground troops, not flying in, dropping a load of bombs on tractors that "looked just like tanks" and high-tailing it out of there.

On a barely-related topic, anyone remember when, during the Kosovo bombing, a tape showing a plane accidentally bombing a civilian-loaded bridge was sped up to give the impression that the pilot had less time to think?
