I keep seeing a picture of President Bush holding a book upside down. If it's a fake, it's a darned good one.

His lack of command of the language doesn't bother me so much as the way he seems to lose his train of thought in mid-sentence. He will look a little worried for a few seconds and then finish up with something that doesn't quite say anything at all. Reagan used to do that.

He also worries me when he talks of taking out Sadam. There are other ways that would be better than marching troops through Baghdad. War is not cowboys and Indians anymore. You can't always know an enemy by his uniform these days. There are no "front lines."

I have to agree that something needs to be done to avoid disaster, but I'm afraid of his methods.

He doesn't worry me. He scares me to death.
