wintermute and I went out for a drink and to see a show few months ago. We saw "The Complete History of America - Abridged" by the Reduced Shakespeare Company, but that's beside the point. We ate beforehand in a place that did Wild boar burgers and Roo steaks. It was an "ethnic" Australian place, I forget the name, but similar ones of all nationalities can be found all over the capital.

The very best, to my mind, is a small chain of restaurants found in West London called "The Mongolian Barbecue". You get a small starter, then you get a bowl and go pick your raw ingredients and get the staff to cook it right there in front of you. There are all the conventional meats to choose from, many types of vegetables and sauces and spices for flavour. Just thinking about it makes me want to go there again.
