I've never seen kangaroo in a French restaurant, or any restaurant other than an Oz one.

Pizza is common enough, But I can't think of anywhere you'd find fried rice or tacos, though. I'm sure there is somewhere, if you look hard enough.

We ate beforehand in a place that did Wild boar burgers and Roo steaks. It was an "ethnic" Australian place, I forget the name, but similar ones of all nationalities can be found all over the capital.

"Walkabout". And the kangaroo was delicious :)

You get a small starter, then you get a bowl and go pick your raw ingredients and get the staff to cook it right there in front of you. There are all the conventional meats to choose from, many types of vegetables and sauces and spices for flavour. Just thinking about it makes me want to go there again.

Yeah. Mongolian Barbeques rule. The one in Croydon is now a Lebanese restaurant, of all things.
