I can send you photocopies or scans from the maps I drew. You'll just have to put some pin or other small item on top of the square you're currently on, and remember which direction you're pointing at...

AFAIK it IS possible to kill monsters with only your bare hands. Killing Bearded Humanoids or Cosmops with your bare hands shouldn't be too difficult, but killing Mist Wraiths or Rock Dragons would be another thing entirely. It's best to wait until you have at least 10 thousand HP before you attempt such a thing.
