The linearity of level 4 also makes it a good place to level up your characters. You can just go as far as you feel comfortable going, and you have a nice clean path back to the elevator and sweet sweet rest at an Inn. I got a few level-ups out of going straight through level 4 aboot four times. Lots of experience awaits you at the end.

As I've mentioned in other posts, things worth finding are always heavily guarded. Also, if you can see a map, or at least some light, you'll know exactly who and what is near the city at all times.
