I'm Stuck Big Time in Murkon's Refuge

I'm stuck in the area near the monster's treasury. I can't get out anymore. If there's anything I've overlooked, please tell me! I've been stuck in the same place for two days. The only hint I have is the sign giving directions to Perinn which tells me to go east, south west and then north. I have no idea how I'm supposed to do that.
