There is a National Novel Writing Day, but I have never been tempted to participate in that. My poor fingers just wouldn't hold out.

However, since I keep mistakenly telling people NaNoWriMo is about writing 50,000 pages in a month, I am working on writing a 50,000 page novel, just for the heck of it. I don't expect to be finished for many years. Or, well, maybe ever.
