On that very subject, a few friends and I messed around with a copy of a novel I had in hypertext format a bit back.

We figured if we printed it on the college laser printer, it was readable at 4.5pt and could fit the entire novel on 3 sides of A4.

We also discovered that Word 2000 seems to have a limit on font size at around 1600pt, which would make letters fit one letter to 4 sides of A4 (of course, A4 is a UK term, just think of 8"x11" which is near enough)

At that rate, you need only write a novel of 12,500 letters, which is what... 3,000 words?
