Muppet Treasure Island (1996)

Reviews and Comments

The Muppets give Robert Louis Stevenson's most famous novel the classic Muppet treatment -- colorful forgettable tunes, a host of creative puppets, pleasant humor, and a meticulous attention to detail. Yet it's a little too drawn-out and capsizes when it tips a little too far toward ridiculousness once they reach the island. All of the Muppet movies are prime fare for kids, but not all are equally satisfying for adults. Not this one, anyway.
