After wandering around a while, I found my wife and commented that the Mexicans sure do have beautiful children. Their straight black hair and dark eyes stand out in this area where blonde and brown hair, blue and grey eyes are common.

On a couple of occasions, friends there have told me they think white babies are more beautiful than Mexican babies, and I look at them like they're crazy. I'd have to agree with you, Howard. I love the perfect skin and thick, dark hair. I don't think it's racist; I think the eye is more drawn to what it sees as different and exotic. To a Mexican, that's a blue-eyed, fair-skinned baby. To me, it's a black-eyed, dark-haired baby.

Thanks, I feel better already.
I also like baldheaded babies which includes all of my own kids and grandkids. Most of them are completely bald until they are two. Maybe that's why that straight black hair gets my attention.

After I wrote that, we went to the mall and I saw lots of different kids. Judging by their parents, they included Indians(from India), Japanese, and Mexicans. As always, I had a camera in my pocket, and it was tempting, but you can't go around shooting pictures of people you don't know these days.
