Made me so wish I had remembered to pack the camera. ARRRUGH!!! Wintermute was right, how could I have forgotten it, it IS like forgetting to pack underwear.

I wouldn't get too upset about it. Unless you also carried around a tripod and a camera that allowed you to take prolonged exposures, you wouldn't have gotten very memorable pictures of either the fireflies or the fireworks.
