You're answering your own question here. You didn't map it, and now you can't find your way around. So...start mapping it! Nothing's stopping you.

The Jewel of Montol is definitely one of the more difficult ones to navigate, although it wasn't purposely written that way. Fortunately, it's a pretty simple world, so you don't need anything fancy to figure out how to get around -- just some lines and dots.
