The vinyl siding was pockmarked with holes, and there were places where the decorative shutters had been pulverized and fallen right off the house. I believe they had to replace the roof as well.

A good group of voluneers seems to get more done with less hassel than all of the government agencies. My daughter and granddaugher are going to the gulf coast with a church group to do some of that kind of work. I wouldn't be surprised if they also went to Middle Tennessee.
