Treasure is treasure, wherever you find it. The deeper you are in the dungeon, the more valuable the treasure will be, but it's all just Items of Specialness that you will sell for cash.

If what worries you is missing out on a key or key-equivalent, you'll know soon enough if you missed one you should have found.
