Sort of.

I then teleported to the area where all the rooms are. When walking in that area I saw what looked like a monster picture in the small room leading to the hallway that goes to the Leviathon. I had been through that room to get to the Leviathon so how could a monster be in it if I did not go to a town or leave the level? Thank you.
Maybe you ran from a fight and left a monster behind in there.
