How much domestic violence occurs as a result of, or is at least related to, alcohol abuse? In light of some of the things that are related to drinking, killing a family of four seems almost the least of many things that could go wrong.

We'll ignore the fact that the employment of the phrase "something like 70%" is a pretty strong indicator that you just made up a statistic in light of the fact that the post you're responding to was largely concerned with the untrustworthiness of statistics.

I'm more interested in the fact that you seem to be of the opinion that sexual assault and domestic violence are in some respect worse than the killing of an entire family. That seems like an odd set of priorities from where I'm sitting.
