Yeah, but who would have figured Morton or Castle-Hughes would be more probable? C'mon.

The biggest out-on-a-limb pick I made was in one of the categories not in your game: I picked Emma Thompson for Supporting Actress. (I always like to pick at least one person the pundits aren't choosing, just so I can look smart if it happens.) I thought she had a reasonable outside shot: great performance in a well-liked movie, an actress the Academy loves, and she was in the public eye for Angels in America. Ah well. (My other misses that you didn't see: I also had Johannson in Supporting, missing Aghdashloo and Clarkson; and Finney and Macy rather than Baldwin and Hounsou.)

And I know this doesn't matter, but I almost decided to pick just three animated films in your game (since I assumed they wouldn't go up to five), and I would have picked the right three. :-)
