Ugh. I hate moving. I don't hate everything
about it-- I love the excitement of being in a
new place --but I despise the actual process.
Having to go through all your stuff; figuring out
how to pack it all in boxes so it won't be
damaged, and making difficult decisions
about what to keep and what to toss. And no
matter how carefully you pack and label,
something's going to get lost, never to be
seen again. It's been nearly three years since
our last move, and we still haven't located the
AC power cord for my wife's keyboard. I
*know* it *has* to be in one of the boxes in the
garage or the shed, and I've looked through
many of them, but it's a ridiculously daunting
task to go through 20 or 30 boxes of stored
stuff to find one little thing like that. Maybe we'll
find it next time we move...
