What's all this resistance to elves being elves? Elves being light on their feet and all, it would be surprising if they *were* as grounded as humans are in battle.

The only Legolas stunt that bothered me was the shield-down-the-stairs bit, and only then just because it looked too much like a rig to be convincing. I thought the oliphaunt in RotK and the horse mounting bit in the Two Towers were fantastic. It wouldn't have even occurred to me to be annoyed.
