> Do you mean they have college football games in Tuscaloosa? We were there for several days about three years ago and I never saw a stadium. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. I was there for . . . you guessed it . . . a Cushman meet. It was late August and it got up to about 95 degrees about 9:00 o'clock in the morning and stayed there until dark. But we had a good time. There was a "Confederate" band there that played Civil War era music that was so good we bought the tape.

Oh yeah! Tuscaloosa is known as the "Lair of the Bear." Well, their stadium is right in the middle of the University of Alabama's campus, so if you didn't go by U of A then you wouldn't have seen one. It's a great place to visit and a fun atmosphere. They even have a little hamburger joint on campus right next to the stadium called the Rammer Jammer. That comes from a chant that the fans do during Bama games that goes "Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer Give 'em Hell Alabama!" Gotta love it!

About the temperature, I'm sure... er... I HOPE it won't get that hot this weekend. That is really crazy... 95 at 9 AM. I would have REALLY hated being there around 2:30 or 3 in the afternoon!
