> Well, I'm going on my first and only "vacation" for the year this weekend. My dad, my brother, my friend, his dad, and I are all heading down to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the Alabama Homecoming game! We went last year and it went pretty well except that it rained so we couldn't go to the Bear Bryant Museum.

It should be a pretty good game too. Southern Miss. has a pretty sharp team this year, the only reason we'd lose is because our first AND second string QBs are both out with shoulder injuries. That's right, we're relying on some cocky dude that come straight from high school. Wonderful. But our defense is tough enough to hold them off until the kid gets a feel for the game.

Do you mean they have college football games in Tuscaloosa? We were there for several days about three years ago and I never saw a stadium. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. I was there for . . . you guessed it . . . a Cushman meet. It was late August and it got up to about 95 degrees about 9:00 o'clock in the morning and stayed there until dark. But we had a good time. There was a "Confederate" band there that played Civil War era music that was so good we bought the tape.
